~March 1-14

📚 Edwin is busy working on an intricate wiring job on an animatronic Chica the Chicken head when David interrupts him, playing pretend as a ghost with old lace. David sneezes and coughs because of the dirty fabric, and Edwin teases him before he is briefly taken by memories of Fiona. David sneezes again, and Edwin plucks the lace off of his son to remind him of their deal: David plays quietly for an hour so Edwin can get work done, then they go out for ice cream.

excited, David wears the lace like a cape and dances. holding his white tiger plush, Tiger, he starts singing about ice cream. while Edwin reminisces about Fiona, David finds a wooden slat from the old leavers machine and begins to make a drumbeat for his ice cream song. Edwin shakes his head at him, reflecting on how he once had been successful and happy with his family. he looks past David to the character costumes hanging around the room, and wishes that Fiona were alive. while Edwin is once more consumed by his memories, David chants louder and spins faster.

snapping back to the present, Edwin shouts at David, who stops spinning but loses his balance. David stumbles into Edwin’s worktable, knocking over the Chica head. Edwin shouts louder, and David falls back on butt and begins to cry. Edwin sighs and picks up his son to give him a nap, considering the possibility of building a robot to carry David around when he gets even bigger and heavier.

Edwin says aloud that it’s not a bad idea, which David is curious about enough to stop crying, but doesn’t understand. Edwin offers ice cream in exchange for him taking a short nap, and David agrees. once in their bedroom, Edwin is distracted by the white tiger headboard of David’s bed. as he thinks about the concept of mimicry, David tries to get his father’s attention by standing on the mattress and holding out Tiger.

Edwin tells David to lie down. as he does so, David asks if Tiger can also have chocolate chip ice cream. Edwin says they’ll have to ask for special tiger ice cream from Lucy, the parlor owner. while David searches for a storybook, Edwin anxiously checks the time. he asks David if they can skip the story so he can get work done, then Edwin will read two stories for bedtime. David is disappointed, but agrees and goes to sleep. Edwin pats his son’s head before returning downstairs to his work.

Edwin sighs, uninterested in his current project that Fazbear Entertainment commissioned him for. Edwin regretfully lingers on how he’d come to be forced to sell his company, and looks at the Chica head to find one of its feathers broken. frustrated with his lack of time to spend on either his job or son, Edwin returns to the idea of a robotic companion to entertain David while he works

~March 2-15

📚 Edwin begins to work on David’s playmate, gathering various materials from throughout the factory to use to build it

📚 Edwin begins assembly on his new invention. David, who had been adventuring with Tiger behind the spool racks, comes over to ask what he’s building. Edwin explains that he’s making him and Tiger a new friend. as he carries David upstairs to clean up Tiger before dinner, he worries about his son having only a plush and his work in progress invention for friends. Edwin plans to put David into kindergarten next year

📚 Edwin finishes the torso, arms, and head of a simple endoskeleton. next he works on the computer to power it, using hardware from his abandoned projects. he creates an AI that learns and mimics what it sees, writing the code so fast it feels like it wants to be created, and is helping him make it. the program is a strange combination of coding languages that Edwin takes several shortcuts making. he names it Mimic1

— March 15

‣ Murray’s Costume Manor finishes its commissioned order of Swing Bee for Happy Bee Inc

~March 23-April 5

📚 after 3 weeks of sleepless, feverish work, Edwin completes his project. Edwin is about to turn on the endoskeleton, when David comes down the slide with Tiger. he charges over to lean against his leg, and comments on how smelly Edwin is. excited to show David,💭 Edwin brings him into the Springlock Assembly Office. 📚 he sets the animatronic torso onto the ground and sits next to it, introducing it as “M1”. Edwin realizes, too late, that Mimic1 might look scary to David with its skeletal appearance and exposed features.

‣ David does think it looks scary, but Edwin reassures him that the endoskeleton will wear any fun costume he wants, and to think of Mimic1 as a full-time unpaid babysitter / housekeeper.💭 David’s fear quickly turns to curiosity. 📚 he sits next to his father, studying M1’s face, then asks what its name is. Edwin suggests calling it “Mimic”, after the program’s title. David says the name is weird, but he likes it, using “he” to refer to the endoskeleton. David asks his father to see what Mimic does, and Edwin activates him. as David observes in wonder, Mimic begins to copy his movements, which delights the child.

Edwin smiles as David begins to play with his new friend, teaching him patty-cake. he suggests the two of them play upstairs while Edwin takes a shower. David agrees, calling his father stinky again, and Edwin laughs as Mimic copies David’s nose plugging motion. as Edwin carries them both upstairs, David takes his free hand and says he likes Mimic. Mimic holds Edwin’s other wrist with his pincers, and Edwin is scared for a moment, but the endoskeleton’s grip is gentle

~March 24-April 6 – April 7-April 20

📚 for the next 2 weeks, David plays with Mimic while Edwin gets work done. since Mimic cannot speak, David develops a sort of sign language to communicate with him. over time Edwin tweaks Mimic to help it move more smoothly. he’s impressed by how fast the program is learning, and considers using it for business ventures

📚 while absorbed with work on the Chica animatronic, Edwin notices that he hasn’t checked on David for hours. he looks up to see David and Mimic coloring with crayons on the floor. later that day, Edwin is broken out of concentration by David playing an uncoordinated game of catch with Mimic

‣ Edwin records a message to Fiona on the {Executive Wing} Mrs. Helpful kiosk. though he feels stupid, he hopes somehow she can still hear him. Edwin admits that he can’t do things alone, and is overwhelmed by the change orders from Fazbear Entertainment. his employees, which he refers to as friends, keep leaving, and he has no more money. Edwin is convinced that if he finishes the Fazbear project, everyone will come back and everything will “go back to normal”. he ends the recording by saying he misses his and Fiona’s friends, and that he misses Fiona most of all

~April 8-21 – April 31

📚 Edwin begins work on constructing a Foxy the Pirate model

📚 David and Mimic go everywhere together, with the endoskeleton always copying his human friend’s actions. while eating mac and cheese for dinner, David shares his bowl with Mimic, and Edwin has to stop him from getting cheesy components. David gets milk up his nose laughing, and laughs even harder when Mimic copies his giggling motions. David jumps up, wanting to play trains, but Edwins reminds him to clean up. Mimic watches as David puts the milk carton carefully back in the fridge

📚 since Mimic always pretended to carry a tiger plush like David, David asks his father if they can get him one. Edwin declines and says money is too tight. later, Edwin is finishing up programming on Foxy the Pirate when he spots David and Mimic by the leavers machine, hunched over a pile of lace, folding and refolding it.

Edwin comes over to see what they’re doing, and is surprised to find that Mimic is now responding to David’s prompts instead of simply mimicking them. David points and Mimic smiles as they show Edwin what they made together: a faux plush tiger made of lace, held together by string. Edwin is amazed, and praises his son. David beams, and Mimic’s eyes glow brighter than normal

— May

‣ Edwin records an audio log in the Basement 1 Workshop, claiming to have heard Fiona’s voice there when he set the audio tape machine’s frequency to 4625. Edwin does so again, and calls out for his late wife. after several long seconds of static, Fiona’s voice can be heard repeating: “That’s great honey, but you’re missing the party!” from David’s 2nd birthday

📚 Edwin begins work on constructing a Bonnie the Bunny model

📚 Edwin finds a box of colored construction paper while looking for parts on the 3rd floor. he gives them to David and Mimic for coloring, which David calls “neato”. soon, David and Mimic develop a sort of hieroglyph pattern that they draw together. Edwin continues to update Mimic to help it function

📚 a few days later, Edwin is beginning to get more and more work done, stopping only to feed David and answer the child’s questions. while trying to rush his son through his morning routine, David asks why they have to brush their teeth. when Edwin explains cavities, David asks if Mimic will get any, waving his toothbrush in worry. Edwin scolds David for getting toothpaste on his shirt, which upsets him. Edwin snaps at his son to not cry, which makes David cry.

Edwin shakes David by the shoulders, making him scream in rage. Edwin shouts at him, before realizing his wrong behavior. he tries to apologize to David, who ignores him and holds Mimic’s claw. Edwin eventually gets David to calm down and change into clean clothes, but stops him as he goes to play. Edwin reminds David to pick up his PJs, and Mimic watches as David does so.

Edwin gets more work done until he’s interrupted again by David. he looks up to see David wearing the Bub mascot costume sent by Fazbear Entertainment. Mimic is next to him, wearing the top half of Montgomery Gator. furious that his commission work is getting dirty, Edwin yells at them both to get out of the costumes. David begins to cry, but Edwin ignores him and removes his son and Mimic from the mascots, and tells David to go play quietly.

half an hour later, David pokes Edwin’s arm saying he’s hungry. this causes Edwin to mess up the soldering job he was working on, and he angrily scolds David. David looks at his feet, and Mimic copies him. Edwin calms himself and tells David to play quietly just a little longer, and David agrees to go draw. as he and Mimic start coloring their symbol pattern, Edwin decides to upgrade Mimic even further.

that night, Edwin tucks David in to his cot near the worktable. after Mimic copies David’s big yawn and eye rubs, Edwin picks him up and gets to work on upgrades. he adds more fluidity and motion to Mimic’s functionality, as well as processing more tasks through his AI. once finished, Edwin works the rest of the night on the Fazbear project. at dawn, he carries David up to their bedroom and falls asleep

📚 the next day, David wakes Edwin up by jumping on his stomach, excited to play catch. Edwin shouts at him, and David goes to wait for his father in the gravel lot. Edwin, exhausted and distracted with work, takes a shower and sets up the table for breakfast

‣ Edwin, F10N4 and a few other employees throw David’s 5th birthday party in Conference Room 1. Edwin films the decorations, excited that David will love them. F10N4 brings a cake up to the table and Edwin, impressed, asks if she made it. she says that she made it herself “for David’s special day”. Edwin praises her and remarks that she continues to surprise him. with everything ready, Edwin tells everyone to hide. he instructs F10N4 to go get David, who was left alone at his playground

💭 when F10N4 takes a little too long, Edwin goes looking for her and David. to his concern, he finds neither at David’s playground. a bystander mentions that they saw F10N4 go into the Client & Deliveries Entrance, and Edwin heads inside to search the facility

📚 Edwin heads down to the 1st floor and calls for David, but gets no reply. the room is empty, besides Mimic sitting on Edwin’s worktable, and the factory’s main doors are wide open. 💭 Edwin hears the echo of David’s laughter from further inside, and follows it to the Story Time Hallway

📚 starting to panic, Edwin runs 💭 down the hall into the Story Time Showroom, 📚 as he shouts David’s name. Edwin makes it only in time to see David chasing his ball 💭 underneath the giant Night Light theater prop that hangs from the ceiling. its unstable structure gives way and the Night Light prop falls into the Basement, leaving massive holes in each floor, 💭 and crushing David

📚 Edwin can only process his scream and a blur of other senses. he keeps running 💭 down to Basement 1 📚 as the horrific reality of what happened sinks in. an MCM employee screams to call 911. Edwin reaches David, but is pulled back and told not to move him. Edwin lashes out, seeing only glimpses of color, including David’s blood spreading across the 💭 concrete flooras Edwin is taken outside, 📚 he screams as he loses his senses entirely. his vision goes black, and as the sun is blotted out, Edwin feels that the darkness is coming from someplace within his soul

F10N4 insists they can fix things together, and she’s there to help

‣ Mimic begins to carry around Tiger, which upsets Edwin. he snatches the plush from Mimic’s grip and squeezes Tiger, crying into him

— December 20
(~5:00-11:00 AM)

📚 Edwin comes out of his fugue state with vague memory of his situation. he manages to get himself out of bed and ready for work, with barely any energy after not eating enough. he’s tempted to shut off Mimic, left activated next to his worktable, but can’t muster the strength. once at the table, Edwin finds that he had been working on Bonnie the Bunny since David’s death, but has no recollection of doing so.

Edwin tries to force himself to concentrate, but doesn’t feel right holding his tools. 💭 He gets up and wanders the facility aimlessly, eventually ending up in Basement 1. it’s only then he notices that Mimic had been following him. 📚 Mimic climbs onto the table, and his makeshift tiger plush reminds Edwin of Mimic’s attempt to carry Tiger. he grumbles at Mimic for staring at him, and in response, Mimic uses David’s sign language to ask for ice cream.

seeing this is too much for Edwin, and he explodes into violent fury. he reaches for the nearest object, a metal rod, and begins to destroy Mimic with it. Edwin attacks over and over, as if he could destroy his own pain by destroying the endoskeleton, until he’s frothing at the mouth and blinded by rage. a nearby audio tape machine picks up Edwin yelling that it’s not David, and to stop sounding like him.

📚 when he comes to his senses somewhat, Edwin sees the amount of damage he’d done. Mimic was completely broken, and he doesn’t care. he needs a place to put his wrath and self hatred. Edwin continues to scream and beat Mimic with the rod, like he was killing himself instead. Edwin could almost feel his horrible emotions pour from his muscles into Mimic’s metal and electronic systems.

finally, Edwin runs out of energy and anger. he falls to his knees and looks down at the shattered Mimic, who lays on the ground with a broken body just like David. Edwin’s anger dissolves into regret, and he cries with his head in his hands

Edwin says the recreation wouldn’t be his son, and that F10N4 isn’t really his wife. F10N4 tries to get him to calm down and think about the idea more. she insists that if he can “make another”, they’ll all be together as a family again.

Edwin ignores her, lamenting all the time he spent at work instead of raising his son. he blames himself for having “a machine” raise David, and turns his anger on F10N4, telling her she’s not real. ‣ William writes a message to the {Executive Office} MCM mailbox to request contact information for “the rest” of the MCM staff, saying “we are almost there” and insisting the recipient hurry. Mimic dismisses him by quoting one of the many times Edwin had dismissed David.

Edwin desperately apologizes to Mimic for losing his temper, and claims he was always going to fix him. he begs again for help, but Mimic quotes Edwin telling David that he’s busy and to ask Fiona. ~January 16-23

‣ urban legends have developed around Murray’s Costume Manor

‣ 3 Fazbear engineers, Dominic [24 yrs], Glen, and Harry [27 yrs], are assigned to clean up and repair Edwin’s old factory. their supervisor, Ron, tells Dominic to “get it handled”. when asked what he means, Ron only says that Edwin left things in “quite a state”, and Murray’s Costume Manor belongs to Fazbear now.

Ron advises them to bring flashlights since the building’s power is out due to a “paperwork mix-up” at the power company. Harry doesn’t seem to believe Ron, and is particularly nervous because of “stories” he’s heard. Harry considers quitting the job, but won’t elaborate to Dominic, saying that talking about it “gives it power”

~January 17-24

📚 Dominic, Glen, and Harry arrive for their task at the abandoned factory. they open the front doors and are creeped out by the leavers machine and general darkness. the trio steel themselves and head inside, eager to get things over with and go make lunch at Glen’s. when they get further in, a gust of wind blows into the factory and the front doors slam closed. Glen jumpscares Dominic and Harry–Dominic laughs it off, but Harry is upset and frightened. they drop their tool satchels and take a closer look around the room.

behind Edwin’s worktable, Dominic sees very dusty mascot costumes of various Fazbear characters: including Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Jester. nestled on David’s cot is Mimic’s faux tiger plush, which Dominic almost mistakes for a real tiger cub in the dark. they briefly examine David’s slide, before wondering to each other what they’re meant to do there. Glen suggests they split up to explore, but Harry quickly turns down the idea. Dominic mediates by sending Glen and Harry to the 3rd floor while he takes the 2nd floor himself. they take the worn stairs and split up at the 2nd floor landing.

Dominic wanders the narrow hallway, finding several rooms with the Murray family’s old belongings. he ends up in Edwin and David’s old living space, and explores the sitting room and kitchen, curious as to why all the windows are boarded up inside and out. Dominic notices a rotten smell, and then sees a bloodstain leaking from the fridge vent onto the floor. he almost opens it, but changes his mind. Dominic turns back to find the bathroom, and then Edwin and David’s old bedroom. Dominic sadly reflects on the remains of a happy family, then he notices a Fazbear Entertainment branded satchel on the shelf with David’s books and toys.

curious, Dominic searches the bag. he finds a tape recorder that still has batteries, and rewinds it. he listens to the recording of {unnamed}’s report that {they} and Terrance were trapped inside the factory. Dominic pauses the recording in fear, and while he wonders if they’ll be able to get out, he hears a faint whir and tap from the hallway. he doesn’t see anything with his flashlight, and returns to the recording.

when Dominic hears {unnamed} mention a generator, he starts to head out to find it. but the lights come on, and Dominic hears the generator’s motor after Glen and Harry activated it. able to see around him better, Dominic keeps searching the 2nd floor. in the hall, he finds the outer door to the bedroom closet, and can smell rotting flesh. nervously, he opens the door, but only sees hanging and folded clothes.

exploring the rest of the rooms, Dominic only finds artifacts from when the factory was first running. all the while he listens to the rest of {unnamed}’s tape. eventually Dominic returns down to the stairwell to wait for Harry and Glen, trying to figure out why the previous Fazbear employee had left {their} belongings behind.

Dominic hears Glen and Harry bickering as they come down the stairs. Harry says he saw something move on the 3rd floor, and Glen thinks it’s his imagination, but praises him on getting the generator going. Glen suggests they all call it a day and come back tomorrow with supplies, and Dominic grimly says that he hopes they can.

Glen asks why, but interrupts himself when he smells the decay from the 2nd floor. Dominic assumes it’s a dead animal, and bring the others downstairs to catch them up on what he found. Glen and Harry are horrified to hear there was another Fazbear engineer team that was trapped there, and Glen wonders why Ron didn’t mention them. Dominic plans to ask him when they escape.

the three friends go straight for the front doors, but discover the factory is locked. they search the property, but find no other exits. when they gather by Edwin’s worktable to figure out what to do, Harry notices one of the Jester costumes is missing. Glen suggests the group go find out what the smell on the 2nd floor is, claiming to know the smell, unsure if it’s a dead animal.

what Glen, Harry, and Dominic find in the kitchen refrigerator is the corpse of the unnamed Fazbear engineer, {their} body mangled and broken to fit inside. Harry vomits as the others stare in shock, then Glen closes the door and they leave. Harry rests on the stairs while Glen and Dominic investigate the closet. inside, they find Terrence dead as well, gutted and hung like clothing.

suddenly, they hear Harry scream. Dominic and Glen run back to find Mimic, wearing a Jester costume, pulling Harry’s brain from his skull. Mimic turns toward them, and Glen pulls Dominic down the hallway to David’s slide. they escape down the slide, and hide behind the stacks of lace in the main production room. Glen and Dominic wait quietly, listening for Mimic for so long that Dominic falls asleep.

eventually Glen wakes him, the building having gone silent. while looking for weapons to defend themselves, Glen muses that they’re the second team Fazbear Entertainment sent in to “clean up a mess”, and they’ll have to stop Mimic or die trying. Dominic sees a discarded bloody Jester costume under the worktable and tries to warn Glen, but is too late.

Mimic lunges from the costume rack, dressed in a Pink Shroom costume. he grabs Glen before he can run, and smashes him headfirst into the wall. Mimic drops Glen’s corpse and Dominic comes out of shock enough to get away. he runs to the 3rd floor in panic and looks for somewhere to hide. his only hope is to wait for someone to find him, but no one had found {unnamed} and Terrance, and there’s no food or water in the building.

Dominic decides to try and makeshift a weapon to fight back. he sneaks down the stairs to the 2nd floor, intent on using the tools from {unnamed}’s satchel that he’d found earlier. when he reaches the other side of the hall, Dominic stops to look at the staircase. Harry’s body is gone, and the Pink Shroom costume sits crumpled in his place.

horrified into action, Dominic runs to grab the satchel from Edwin and David’s bedroom, then sprints to the 3rd floor. with the tools in the satchel and machines littering the floor, he’s sure that he can build something to stop Mimic. before Dominic makes it a step towards the machinery, Mimic rises from a nearby pile of mascot costumes, wearing a decayed {unnamed lion}. Dominic runs, but Mimic catches him by the ankle at the stairs. he drags Dominic back and rips out his trachea, killing him violently

‣ a Fazbear Entertainment technician named Arnold receives and signs a work order to “extract blueprints from MCM facility”, with the instructions to not disturb or damage any merchandise inside

~September 8 – November

‣ Arnold receives a second work order from Fazbear Entertainment with the start date of his job, and the instructions to “retrieve Fazbear Ent. assets from the premises”

— December

‣ Arnold’s coworker Richie puts a data diver into Arnold’s truck in preparation of him being called to Murray’s Costume Manor

💭 December 14

🎮 Arnold is driving home, barely awake, when his supervisor (code named “Dispatch”) contacts him over the radio and requests he take another shift. Arnold tries to protest that he’s too exhausted, but Dispatch ignores him and reminds Arnold of his next work order: to retrieve Edwin Murray’s abandoned technology contracted for Fazbear. Apparently there’s been erratic movement detected inside Murray’s Costume Manor, but Dispatch is unconcerned and sends Arnold the directions

🎮 later, Arnold arrives at Murray’s Costume Manor to find another Fazbear technician truck abandoned in the parking lot. the factory’s front door is locked, so he wanders the property. Arnold comes across the fenced off road up to the Murray mansion, and a mailbox compatible with his data diver, but nothing else. on the other side of the building, Arnold is able to slip through the fence of the storage yard to the Client & Deliveries Entrance, which is still open. the automatic client tour is activated, but the Welcome Show breaks down before it ends properly, forcing Arnold to manually reset Rocktapus to reach a door he can open with his data diver’s basic permissions

(12:00 AM)

🎮 making his way through Storage, Arnold finds and powers up a generator to open a small Security Office. looking through the window, Arnold can see a silhouette in the Manager’s Office. the unknown person paces slowly, as if studying Arnold. Dispatch contacts him through the radio, letting slip that Arnold’s life was being bet on, before providing a brief explanation of Mimic’s existence and abilities. Arnold is directed next to the closest Power Room to turn on the local power, but first he must upgrade his data diver to leave the office.

once he has security access, Arnold heads across Storage to the Power Room, only to come across the corpse of another Fazbear technician stuffed into a Birthday Puppy costume. as soon as the power is restored, Dispatch connects to the warehouse’s intercom. Arnold turns around to catch a glimpse of Mimic wearing an {unnamed elephant} costume, staring at him through the window.

Dispatch orders Arnold back to the Security Office for further instructions, and warns him that Fazbear is seeing “strange readings” in the area. when Arnold tries to report what he’s seen, he’s ignored. on the way back, Arnold finds David’s Deadeye Roxy hat on a worktable. he doesn’t understand why, but is compelled to keep the object safe, and takes the hat with him.

once safely in the office, Dispatch explains that Fazbear Entertainment considers the misbehaving endoskeleton to be valuable, and Arnold’s main goal is retrieving Edwin’s original schematics in the admin wing (deactivating the endoskeleton if possible). Dispatch activates the warehouse’s inventory tube system so Arnold can retrieve a handcrank to open the security fence blocking the way to the Warehouse Manager’s Office. before leaving, Arnold deposits the Roxy hat into the inventory system.

when Arnold opens the security fence, he’s ambushed by Mimic, who had been hiding inside a costume box wearing the {unnamed elephant} suit. Mimic rushes at Arnold, who runs. he takes advantage of its limited field of vision within the costume to hide from and distract Mimic long enough to slip around it and to the Main Hallway door.

making his way through the Main Hallway, Arnold finds David’s Sharpay plush and deposits it into the inventory tube system further down the hall. he takes the elevator to the second floor, but it breaks halfway through opening the door. Arnold slips out into the Manager Hallway, then down the hall to the Lobby. There, he finds and uses an access station containing repair permissions. he also finds David’s Hedgehog Hudgie mask, which he deposits.

when Arnold backtracks and enters the Birthday Showroom, a spotlight activates, illuminating Jackie’s box. Arnold takes the box’s handcrank for the security fence blocking (unknown room), but in doing so must wind up Jackie. upon opening her box, Jackie jumps out with an automatic greeting, but remains idle as Arnold explores more. hidden behind a castle set, he finds the Murray family’s old Fall Fest snowglobe, which he deposits.

back in the Manager Hallway Arnold opens the security fence, which shorts out halfway through, forcing him to duck underneath to get down the hall and to the Manager’s Office. inside, Arnold is promptly and politely greeted by a still running Digityper. he starts up the generator in the room’s corner. just then Mimic, wearing Jackie, reaches the doorway–having dragged her box all the way after Arnold.

giggling in Jackie’s voice, Mimic tries to squirm into the room. Jackie’s box is caught on the doorway, so it uses her long arms to rip her torso free, and crawls up to Arnold. Mimic is briefly distracted by the Digityper, which greets it automatically. Mimic pounces on the Digityper, flinging papers everywhere, and throws it through the north wall.

Arnold escapes through the hole onto a walkway between walls, but damage from the bricks and Digityper causes it to collapse under Arnold’s added weight. Mimic shouts Jackie’s voice lines after him. the fall knocks the breath out of Arnold, and when his vision clears, he finds himself (and the broken Digityper) in the facility’s {Basement 0} tunnels.

with no other choice, Arnold wanders forward. he occasionally hears and glimpses Mimic stalking him in Jackie’s body. at one point, he gets playfully jumpscared by Mimic through metal bars above his head. Arnold reaches a quiet room, but as the lift brings him to a higher walkway, Mimic crawls out of the vent system in front of him. Arnold runs for it, barely escaping Mimic as it chases him up the catwalks and through more tunnels, keeping up with Jackie’s long extendable arms.

Arnold rounds a corner and drops into a crawlspace, pausing only long enough to open several gates that close off a vent to crawl through, as Mimic rips up the grated metal floor above him. Arnold escapes into the next room, only for Mimic to fall through a vent into an adjoining garage and lunge for him. Arnold makes it to the door lever quicker, and it closes on Jackie’s neck, knocking off her nose and trapping Mimic. as it struggles to get free, Arnold runs past it to a generator, which he starts to activate a wood palette mover. the mechanism clears a path for Arnold to slip into another vent, climbing through the ducts back up to the facility’s first floor.

a vent panel gives way underneath Arnold, and he slides into the hub of a larger duct system. as he crawls through a vent directly above the Warehouse, he hears music from Jackie’s music box. suddenly Mimic appears from around the next corner, and drags itself closer to Arnold. he freezes in fear, but the vent buckles under Jackie & Mimic’s weight, and brings them both down with it. Arnold loses consciousness for an unknown amount of time

(1:00 AM)

🎮 Arnold wakes to Dispatch trying to rouse him, and finds himself back in the first floor security office, having fallen through the ceiling into the room. the silhouette is there again in the Manager’s Window Office, watching him. when Arnold presses talk on the receiver, the sound distorts as F10N4 hijacks the signal, and begins to speak to Arnold using Dispatch’s voice. under the guise of being Dispatch, F10N4 describes Mimic as having been a caretaker for David until learning and copying violence. she admits that previous Fazbear employees have lost limbs “in service of their company” due to direct confrontation with Mimic, and advises Arnold to rely on distraction and avoidance to survive.

F10N4 then directs Arnold to the Showrooms for the next access station, through the Welcome Show. first, Arnold watches the monitors carefully to find the code for the {Break Room}. inside the {Break Room} storage closet, Arnold finds an MCM archived film reel and stores it. on the way back, he hears David’s voice say “I see you!”. Arnold reaches the Welcome Show, and F10N4 guides him to the upper level to reset the program, clearing the showtime error that had locked the Welcome Lobby doors. he also finds David’s Monty’s Fishing Game toy behind the stage.

Arnold enters the Welcome Lobby, where things seem calm. as he explores, the quiet is broken by David’s distorted voice again, saying: “Why won’t you play with me?”. the elevator to the Showrooms doesn’t work, so he opens the door to {unknown room), and deposits the Monty toy. further in the room he comes to find a mascot head jamming the elevator’s gears. a Mrs. Helpful station instructs him back to the Welcome Lobby’s second floor balcony to retrieve a repair cassette.

Mimic was lying in wait for Arnold, wearing one of the several mascot suits displayed around the room. Arnold manages to avoid Mimic’s ambush and make it back to {unknown room} with the repair cassette. following the steps recorded by Fiona, Arnold is able to restore the elevator to working condition, and slip through the crawlspace behind it into the locked side of {unknown room}. inside the room is a corpse of a Fazbear employee, stuffed inside a Jest mascot suit. on a chair nearby is David’s Chica’s Party World cup, which Arnold collects. he unlocks the security fence, deposits the cup, and rides the elevator up to the Showroom Lobby.

after exploring the Showroom Lobby, Arnold checks the Birthday Showroom. in the adjoining hall is a large cake prop with an inactive Mrs. Helpful. as Arnold looks at her, he hears David’s voice say “Gimmie a minute, I had the best idea!” the door into the Showroom proper is locked with a number code, so Arnold turns back.

next, he pokes around the Employees Only room. he finds an audio recording of Edwin and Fiona’s first meeting, and as he listens, he watches the security camera feed for the code to the Birthday Showroom door. Arnold opens the door on the other side of the Birthday Showroom, and when he looks around, he finds an open vent in the wall where Jackie’s box used to be. Arnold crawls through the vent into {Backstage 3}.

when Arnold opens the security fence that bisects the room, Mimic leaps out from a costume box, wearing one of the several mascot suits displayed around the room. Arnold acts quick, activating an MCM singing cutout stand then hiding in a locker. while Mimic is distracted, Arnold sneaks behind its back to the far side of {Backstage 3}. unfortunately, the only accessible door is locked behind another numbpad. Arnold crawls into an adjoining vent, which brings him to the back side of a shelving unit. on the ceiling is a surveillance monitor, which Arnold studies carefully for the door code.

with the code, Arnold is able to open the door to the {Backstage 3 Office}. inside he finds a bottle of Swing Bee honey, which he stores into the inventory system. with Mimic still looking for him, Arnold sneaks back through {Backstage 3} and the Birthday Showroom, safely returning to the Showroom Lobby.

finally, Arnold investigates the Big Top Showroom vestibule, and restores the power manually. this activates Mr. Helpful’s ticket booth next to the entrance, which provides Arnold with a ticket. he places it into one of Big Top’s smaller hands that’s stuck through the curtains. with the ticket received, the curtains open, and Big Top slides back on his rail to welcome Arnold into his showroom.

with no other way forward, Arnold starts with the carnival games. while he plays, Big Top rearranges the Mannequins in the Showroom. when Arnold wins a game, the power goes out and Big Top becomes aggressive, scanning the room for sound or movement. Arnold sneaks past him and the motion activated Mannequins, to restore power from the vestibule before Big Top crawls out of the room. restoring power resets Big Top to his normal docile state, and Arnold can then spin the prize wheel.

while playing Smack A Clown, Arnold notices a door on the other side of the room. he sneaks through the teeth of the game props and into {Backstage 2}. Arnold explores and finds the door to {Backstage 1} around the south end. in there, Arnold is once again ambushed by Mimic, wearing one of many available mascot costumes. Arnold distracts and avoids it long enough to get to the lower level, only to find the way out is blocked by some crates.

nearby, Arnold finds and activates a power generator, which allows him to pull the lift switch upstairs and raise the obstacles out of his way. Arnold manages to sneak around Mimic again and enter the Story Time Hallway. in the Story Time Showroom, Arnold finds a massive fenced off hole in the floor. the next exit is locked, so he squeezes behind one of the stages to take a lift up to a small office area. there he finds an audio log of Edwin talking to himself about trusting no one, and a computer that unlocks the staff door.

seconds later, Arnold hears Mimic stomp into the room. he creeps around it as it searches for him, wearing another mascot suit. Arnold makes it to the other side of the room and into the {Story Time Breakroom}. the far door grants access to behind the other stage, and to a vent that leads to David’s old hideaway on the last stage. among David’s old possessions, Arnold finds David’s Red Starbright night light and brings it with him.

Mimic had followed Arnold, and now stalks the Story Time Showroom for him, so Arnold quietly dips back into the {Story Time Hallway}. Mimic had cleared most of the debris blocking the way back into the Showtime Lobby, so Arnold is able to get back to the Employees Only room and drop off David’s Red Starbright.

done with his detour, Arnold returns to the Big Top Showroom to finish the remaining carnival games and spin the prize wheel, avoiding Big Top each time he becomes aggressive. on the final spin, Arnold wins the grand prize, and the power fails once more.

with the doors to the Big Top Showroom closed behind him, Arnold climbs the winner’s staircase to the Showroom’s upper balcony, to find that Big Top has torn himself from his rail and climbed through the ceiling. Arnold collects the grand prize trophy from its podium, and figures out the code to the {Roof Access Hallway}.

once inside the {Roof Access Hallway}, Arnold finds an access station. he upgrades his data diver to creator clearance. in the upper office area he deposits the trophy, while he listens to Fiona Murray’s last message to Edwin. Arnold briefly backtracks to check the {Big Top Showroom Closet}, where he finds David’s Fredbear’s pizza oven toy, and stores it in the inventory on the way back through the {Roof Access Lobby}.

next, Arnold makes his way to the building’s roof through the Roof Access stairwell. snow has begun to fall, and Arnold explores the roof in a cold night’s air until he finds {unknown room} that leads him up more stairs. through an open grate in the ceiling, a ticket from Big Top’s Carnival slowly flutters to Arnold’s feet. with a shiver, he opens the door to the {Rooftop Catwalk}. one of the Showroom signs on a rotating rail blocks the catwalk, so Arnold activates one rotation. the mechanism moves to reveal Big Top is the roof as well, now fully under the control of Mimic. he leaps across smokestacks to reach Arnold, who bolts across the catwalk and opens the Staff Office Stairwell.

Big Top breaks through the skylight of the stairwell and crawls after Arnold as he runs down the stairs and into the Staff Offices. Big Top follows from above, punching his huge arms through the ceiling to crush Arnold. he manages to dodge his way through the offices and jump down a hole into the crawlspace between floors. Big Top relentlessly smashes through the ceiling as Arnold crawls to an opening to the storage floor below.

Arnold sneaks through the multitude of Mannequins left scattered about the floor, but Big Top eventually finds him. he punches through the ceiling to grab and place the Mannequins violently. Arnold runs to the stairwell, but it’s broken, and he’s cornered. Big Top crawls down the stairwell from above, but the walls give way under his weight, and they both fall. Big Top grabs Arnold mid fall, which inadvertently saves him from hitting the concrete. when Big Top crashes just above the bottom of the stairwell and deactivates, Arnold is released from his hand

(2:00 AM)

🎮 When Arnold’s vision and breath returns, he barely takes two shaky steps out of the stairwell before he hears F10N4 (as Dispatch) admonish him for taking so long. she instructs him back to the Security Office, having located another access station.

Arnold ignores her and backtracks up to the Showroom Lobby. he takes one of the toy guns from the Big Top Showroom shooting gallery games. in the Birthday Showroom hallway, he’s now able to access a small closet with his upgraded permission. inside is a deactivated Clean-O-Vac, and David’s Toy Phone on a stool. Arnold takes the toy and deposits it and the gun in the nearest inventory tube system.

Arnold then revisits the Story Time Showroom. Mimic follows him once more, but Arnold is able to get away safely and open the door to the {Story Time Showroom Closet}. inside, he finds David’s Foxy the Pirate puppet, and deposits it.

Arnold’s next stop is the Main Hallway. in the closet, he finds Edwin’s ranger army knife and deposits it. through the Break Room kitchen, Arnold is able to access a fenced off dining area where he finds David’s kiddy sewing kit.

Arnold continues to the Theater through the Main Hallway entrance. the stairs leading to the Stage Controls and Workshops have collapsed, so Arnold heads into the backstage area of audience seating. as soon as Arnold restores power to the area, he hears Mimic in the room, looking for him in a mascot suit. he sneaks around it and into an open air vent that leads to the upper floor.

Arnold explores the Stage Controls and Projector Room, but finds nothing of note beyond a warning to employees recorded by Edwin and the Stay Up Latte archive film reel. further down the hall in the {Theater Office}, Arnold finds the Murray family’s old Fredbear’s vinyl. with his newest findings stored and no other doors he can open, he returns to the Security Office.

once Arnold picks up, F10N4 expresses her curiosity at what’s happened to him. she comments that the building’s alarms had been triggered then suddenly turned off, and figured he took care of it. when Arnold begs for help due to another near death experience, he’s ignored. F10N4 instructs him to the next access station, which is in the Demonstration Theater, through the Workshops.

with no other choice, Arnold makes his way to the Workshops. while walking through Storage, he hears David’s voice again: “Daddy’s busy buddy. Why don’t you go outside and play?” Arnold reaches the Workshops, and with most rooms locked off, he quickly finds the {Springlock Assembly Room} and its office. F10N4 informs him that a director’s suit is needed to access the lifts to the theater. with instructions from the Mrs. Helpful station, Arnold activates the assembly arm, which holds only Captain Cobalt’s torso.

Arnold searches the workshops for the remaining pieces of the suit. unfortunately, Mimic has already found him. it stalks and chases Arnold, wearing various costumes on display in the workshops. Arnold survives by hiding, distracting, and outrunning it, and is eventually able to find and reattach Captain Cobalt’s head and limbs. he finishes the assembly, then opens and climbs into the energized springlock suit and uses the costume lift into {Backstage Storage}.

As Arnold walks down the hall, the power fails. Mimic, wearing a Sharpay costume, rounds the corner to investigate the noise of Arnold’s movement. however, it only sees him as Captain Cobalt, and waves hello before wandering around. once out of sight, Arnold is able to get out of the suit and slip through a vent into the {Backstage Power Room}. the power interface has one piece removed, which Arnold replaces. once power is restored, Arnold rides the next lift into Backstage.

once he arrives, the stage manager program’s pre show is triggered by the Captain Cobalt suit. as the demonstration tour plays, Arnold explores the area, half of which is completely destroyed. peering down the hole in the floor, Arnold can see a massive Night Light prop had fallen into the basement at some point.

the bridge across the hole is raised, so Arnold sets about removing its chains. a collapsed air vent creates a tunnel to the other side of the room, and as Arnold crawls through it, he hears David’s voice say “I know you’re there.” on the other side of the room, Tiger manifests in front of him, lolling its head curiously and giggling before it disappears. nearby, Arnold finds an MCM archive film reel and deposits it.

Arnold finds the other side of the Backstage catwalks, and while he figures out a way across, he hears Mimic copy Tiger’s giggling. Arnold is able to unhook the bridge partway, but the final chain is locked with a target. Arnold returns to the springlock suit, and hears David repeat Edwin again.

Arnold shoots the target with Captain Cobalt’s cannon arm allowing him to walk across in the springlock suit to the next lift. the lift takes him into the Theater, and the automatic show demonstration begins. with nowhere to go, Arnold is forced to play the show all the way through. as he does so, the building begins to shake and eventually collapse until the balcony he’s standing on gives way. Arnold falls, still in the suit, losing consciousness on impact.

Arnold wakes up within the springlock suit, propped against a repair table. Nurse Dollie wheels in on her track to give Captain Springlock maintenance. she cheerfully identifies Arnold as “foreign material” stuck inside, in need of removal. Dollie describes the repair manual’s thorough cleaning process, but fortunately for Arnold’s safety, she’s already working through an enormous amount of tasks and wheels away.

once Dollie leaves the room, Arnold climbs out of the springlock suit and explores. down the hall and through a creator’s access door, Arnold comes upon the {Recycling Center Showroom}, and its automated tour begins to play. Arnold finds his way into the Recycling Center proper, careful to avoid Dollie as she speeds around the room on her rails. he finds the entrance to the Doll Hospital, but its doors are broken.

Arnold discovers a small office area, with a terminal that opens the vent leading to {Recycling Center Storage}. there he finds the missing gear needed for the door, which repairs and opens from the terminal. at the entrance Arnold finds Dollie’s feet still on the track, the rest of her body missing, having been torn off by the ankles. as soon as Arnold steps into the Doll Hospital, Mimic stumbles into the room from the far end, wearing Dollie.

Arnold runs from Mimic, and eventually escapes through a vent system into the adjoining Furnace Room. he checks the Mr. Helpful station to find that he’s locked out of elevator access until all furnace tasks are completed. from the furnace control terminal, Arnold opens the Doll Hospital. he gets to work filling each trash chute, avoiding Mimic as it continues to hunt him down in Dollie. he also manages to find an access station and upgrade his data diver to admin clearance.

once all chutes are full, Arnold is able to open the Maintenance door to a conveyor belt that feeds the incinerator. as he rounds the corner, Mimic jumps onto the other end of the conveyor, and makes its way slowly against the belt towards him. acting fast, Arnold empties several blocks of trash onto the conveyor. Mimic is too intent on reaching Arnold to notice or care, and gets knocked off balance by the trash long enough for the belt to carry it to the incinerator.

just before falling in, Mimic grabs the edges of the opening with Dollie’s arms. as it struggles to climb out, Arnold is given enough time to reach the door button. a few more trash blocks fall on Mimic, breaking its grip, and the incinerator door closes. with the conveyor belt deactivated, Arnold is able to access the vent system once more and return to the Furnace Room. the Power Reactor door is now unlocked, and he moves forward.

Arnold is almost to the bottom of the catwalks when Mimic breaks through the wall of the power reactor core, its costume, Dollie, now half melted. Arnold bolts down the hall and into a large waste processing room, weaving across the long conveyor belts with Mimic on his heels. Arnold narrowly escapes back into the vent system, which deposits him into {unknown room(s)}.

Mimic is already there searching for him, Dollie’s body glowing and voice distorted with heat. Arnold sneaks past it and finds an elevator to the upper floors. alerted to the sound of the elevator, Mimic rushes in, but the metal doors close just in time to keep it from reaching Arnold.

partway up, the elevator stops and Arnold must follow Fiona’s pre-recorded instructions to reset it. he’s successful, but the elevator isn’t moving again for long before Mimic crashes down on top of it, trying to break in. Mimic in Dollie’s body weighs the elevator down, activating another pre-recorded instructional tape. Arnold manages to increase the elevator’s speed, forcing Mimic to crawl out of Dollie’s body and flee before the elevator slams into the ceiling. Arnold climbs out into {unknown room}, and opens the connecting staircase that leads him back into Storage

(3:00 AM)

🎮 F10N4 calls Arnold to the Security Office, but he ignores her. with his newly obtained creator clearance, he heads for the Main Hallway and opens the Returns room. Arnold pokes around for anything useful, but only finds a voice memo from Edwin about feeling betrayed by his friends, and a strange note on the desk [tba].

next, Arnold backtracks to the Theater and up to the Backstage catwalks. there, he finds the Murray family’s Fallfest ticket book. down on the Theater’s main floor, Arnold can now access the remains of the stage and house. he looks around the area, ducking under the rubble. against the back wall is the corpse of another Fazbear employee, stuffed into a Hedgehog Hudgie suit. their exposed arm still grips David’s Jackie toy hammer, which Arnold silently takes and deposits.

Arnold returns to the Security Office and answers F10N4’s call. he can still see the strange shadow watching him from the Manager’s Office window. now that Arnold has admin access, she directs him to Edwin’s Office through the Warehouse.

Arnold cautiously enters the Warehouse, but doesn’t get far before Mimic breaks out of Chica’s party in a box, wearing a Chica the Chicken costume. as Mimic roller skates around looking for him, Arnold explores and collects missing components of the power interface. with power restored to the Warehouse, he’s able to access the upper floor. on the Warehouse catwalks, Arnold finds David’s toy blocks. he deposits them, then opens a security gate closing off the door to the Loading Bay.

in the Loading bay, Arnold finds the large moving machinery of the floats were activated along with the area’s power. he must rearrange the parade floats in a way he can get across the room. in the process, he manages to find David’s junior nurse kit and another archive film reel. Arnold enters {Warehouse Storage} and starts to check around. suddenly the lights flicker, and Tiger briefly manifests in front of him, giving Arnold another inquisitive stare and giggling before it disappears again.

Arnold finds a door to another part of the Warehouse catwalks. he explores, but only finds an audio tape Fiona left for Edwin and a broken door. Arnold turns back through the {Warehouse Storage} and heads to Upper Welcome Show. when he opens the door, Arnold is greeted by the hanging corpse of a Fazbear technician stuffed into a Jest mascot suit. on the catwalks, Arnold finds David’s Mr. Rocktapus fish net, and deposits it in the {Storage Office}.

Arnold presses onward into {Admin Wing Storage}. when he checks the area, he finds an archive film reel for [TBA], and a deadeye Roxy themed shooting gallery game. Arnold withdraws his ball gun and plays the game, for a moment of respite. when he wins, the prize dispenser drops one of Fiona’s rainboots, which he deposits.

finally, Arnold makes his way it to the Admin Wing, which is littered with models of Mr. Cupcakes set on alarm mode. Mimic is already inside, still wearing Chica. it stalks Arnold through the Admin Wing. he manages to slink past him into the Admin Bathroom, but only finds an MCM mailbox.

with the notes left behind in the various mailboxes around, Arnold is able to figure out the code to Conference Room 1. inside is the remains of David’s 5th birthday party, left abandoned and untouched. on the table is David’s Mr. Cupcake, which Arnold takes and deposits in the Break Room.

upstairs in the {Executive Wing}, Arnold finds Chica’s Party Room, but nothing helpful inside. in the {Executive Storage} he uses an open vent to bring him to {Executive Office}. inside is an access station containing executive permissions.

with executive access, Arnold can now open the door to Edwin’s Office. he heads up the stairs and through an automatic door to find the office empty. on Edwin’s personal computer, Arnold finds the access to a hidden Surveillance Room, down a hallway behind a bookshelf door. the room is full of video screens wall to ceiling of the entire facility, and a lone computer monitor.

when Arnold turns the console on, it describes the system as “Experimental Storage #2”, and gives the option to access the M.I.M.I.C. blueprints. Arnold downloads the blueprints to his data diver, and the room’s escape hatch lever activates. as he turns around to pull it, Arnold sees Mimic appear at the end of the hall, still wearing Chica.

Arnold quickly pulls the lever, closing the Surveillance Room door and opening the air vent. after crawling through the vents, Arnold falls into the IT Room. in the room is an elevator, which takes him to the second level of the Basement. when Arnold opens the door to the {Basement Storage}, he’s greeted again by Tiger. it stares at him with its head askew, and Arnold begins to see hallucinations of Tiger in his face before it disappears.

he navigates the dark warehouse carefully, following the lights as they flicker on and off. Tiger stalks him throughout, giggling and dragging its paws on the floor, staring at Arnold with glowing eyes. Arnold manages to avoid the ghostly mascot suit and finds the door to the {the Tunnels}. using the provided Starbright nightlights, Arnold wanders through the dark hallways, with Tiger and its ghostly laughs around every corner.

down of the dead ends, Arnold stumbles upon an open air vent. he follows it into the Basement 2 Workshop. inside are several of Edwin’s unfinished endoskeletons, first draft blueprints for Mimic, and an audio log from Edwin contacting someone (or something) that sounded like Fiona. finding nothing else useful, Arnold returns to the {the Tunnels}.

following the directional arrows marked on the walls and floors, Arnold is able to find his way out of the {the Tunnels} and to the far end of {Basement Storage}. he sees Tiger manifest in front of him, and realizes that David’s voice is coming from the mascot suit. this time, David says “I made it myself, for David’s special day.” he skirts around Tiger and places the final Starbright into its podium, opening the door to the far side of Basement 2.

Arnold takes the elevator back up to Floor 1, and F10N4 (still mimicking Dispatch) orders him to the Security Office over the intercom. to her surprise, he ignores her and heads back to the Showroom Lobby. with executive access, he’s now able to open the door to the Retail Showroom. at first, the area is quiet except for the creaking of Swing Bee’s swing. but as Arnold explores further, he hears the digital growl and heavy footsteps of Mimic in another costume.

Arnold sneaks to the other end of the showroom, to an office area behind the carousel and a door locked by numbpad. Arnold finds messages left by previous MCM employees that explain where to find the code, and is able to open it. behind the door is an elevator, which Arnold takes down to Basement 1.

next to the elevator is a room with the giant destroyed Night Light prop, still laying where it fell from two stories up. Arnold takes the provided Starbright and cautiously investigates the basement. in the maze of dark, damp tunnels, he finds a Starbright podium that activates the power. with the lights on, he moves with more confidence–until he hears jingling footsteps around the corner. to his horror, Arnold finds the Night Light mascot is wandering the area, singing a lullaby in its deep voice.

Arnold sneaks quietly around Night Light, picking up scattered pieces of a power interface, which he finds in the backside of the huge show prop. with the Starbright he lights up different parts of the Basement, and is able to fix the power interface. a door on the destroyed Night Light prop opens, and inside Arnold finds David’s toy ball. he deposits it in the {Basement 1 Office}, which appears to have been lived in for some time. having found nothing else, Arnold leaves Basement 1 and returns through the facility back to Storage. on the intercom, he hears F10N4 asking what took him so long

(4:00 AM)

🎮 once in the office, Arnold looks through the window and sees the silhouette is still watching him from the Manager’s Office. unnerved, he picks up F10N4’s call, who congratulates his success on finding the M.I.M.I.C. schematics. she directs him to put his data diver in the inventory tube system to “go where it’s needed”. Arnold hands over the data diver and F10N4, pleased, tells him to leave through the garage and go home. she had closed the security gates so Arnold can’t go back into the facility, and insists that his job is done. when Arnold reaches the Front Loading Dock, he finds his van, somehow already parked inside with the lights on.

as Arnold drives home, eventually he leaves the reach of F10N4’s signal interference. the real Dispatch comes through Arnold’s radio, asking where he’s been. because Arnold didn’t reply all night, Dispatch says Fazbear Entertainment is firing him. Arnold, shocked, sputters that he just talked to Dispatch and did what he was told to do: hand over the data diver. Dispatch takes this as an admission from Arnold to stealing the data diver, and Arnold incredulously protests. Dispatch ends the call by threatening Arnold with Fazbear Entertainment’s lawyers.

a few moments later, Arnold hears a noise behind him inside the van, then he sees an orange glow in the rearview mirror. he adjusts the mirror to show Mimic’s reflection in it, and he turns around in horror. Mimic attacks, and Arnold tries to fend it off, but is unsuccessful and blacks out.

when Arnold comes to, he finds himself stuffed inside the prototype Fredbear springlock suit in Research & Development. the showtime demonstration program is running, and the other unfinished animatronics perform silently around him on stage. through Fredbear’s mouth and the colored lights, Arnold can see Mimic standing unmoving in the dining area, staring at him with its head tilted and arm curled
